Access Swiss healthcare
Everything an international patient, family or sponsor needs to understand before starting: what is possible, what it involves and where our role begins and ends.
JV Healthcare is not an emergency service. If this is a medical emergency, contact the emergency services where you are now.

Three questions we answer before anything is booked
Is treatment abroad the right decision?
An authorised clinician reviews urgency, clinical suitability and whether care would be better delivered locally. We say so when travel is not the right answer.
Who is the right specialist?
Matching is based on the clinical question and the department's expertise, not on a commercial relationship. Acceptance is always the provider's decision.
What will it cost and who pays?
We obtain a written estimate from the provider and structure the payment route: self-pay, employer, insurer, embassy or public sponsor with a guarantee of payment where supported.

From enquiry to follow-up
Stage 01 / 06
Private enquiry
A minimal, confidential enquiry establishes the service required. We collect contact details, country, language, service category and a short non-sensitive description. No medical records are uploaded at this stage.
- No diagnosis, reports, scans or identity documents.
- You receive a case reference, not a public profile.
- A coordinator replies with the appropriate next step.

What can be coordinated
Why Switzerland
What the system offers
Regulated quality
Swiss hospitals and clinicians work under a well-defined regulatory and professional framework, with recognised specialist certification and structured oversight.
Depth of specialisation
University hospitals and private centres in Geneva, Lausanne, Bern, Basel and Zurich cover a wide range of sub-specialties within short travelling distance of each other.
Precision and planning
Appointments, diagnostics and treatment plans are organised precisely, which matters when a patient has travelled a long way and has limited time.
Privacy as a norm
Discretion is a professional expectation in Switzerland, not an added service — which suits patients whose situation must remain private.
Bilingual access
Care can be delivered in French or English across much of the country, with professional interpreting arranged where a patient prefers another language.
A practical hub
Direct international connections, compact travel distances and reliable infrastructure reduce the logistical burden on patients and families.
